Corolla sits at the northern end of the Outer Banks barrier island chain. The paved road ends just north of town, where wild Colonial Spanish mustangs roam the beach freely and the crowds thin out considerably.
The beach walkway is approximately 600 feet from the front door. You can also reach the ocean through the oceanfront complex, which has three pools, a restaurant, and courts — all part of your resort access.
